Angela is a fine watercolour artist whose practice was formed by a background in carpentry and furniture restoration. Prior to focusing exclusively on watercolor, she worked hands-on with wood, surface repair, and structural materials, while operating a furniture refinishing business,

In 2022, Angela began experimenting with drywall compound—traditionally used to repair imperfections in wood surfaces—to create dimensional, sculptural compositions. This exploration of texture, repair, and surface history marked a turning point for her journey in the world of art.

Angela closed the refinishing business in 2023 and discovered watercolor art, drawn to the medium’s demand for restraint, precision, and irreversible decision-making. Working on archival cotton paper, each piece is constructed by exploring that balance between guiding the paint and letting it do what it wants.

All works are original, unreproduced, and released in limited series.
